Role: SAP ABAP - Manager

Location: Return to Office (RTO) to Plano, TX.

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Job Summary:

• Analyzing functional requirements from any of the SAP modules and provide a technical SAP ABAP solution.
• Understanding the Functional aspect of requirement
• Crafting the Development approach and technical documents.
• Coordinating with offshore and getting the work done from them.
• Developing the Objects/program with ABAP/Object oriented ABAP Lang/ Workflow/WebDynpro /CDS/Odata/Fiori Elements/UI5.
• Developing the Objects like Interface/File handlings using standard technology such as IDOC, OData
• Developing the Report using Web-Dynpro of ABAP, ALV, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Crafting & developing the Workflows in the SAP with having solid grasp of Workflow technology
• Doing the Unit testing for all the objects developed by him and the offshore team.
• participate in the Integration testing
• Resolve the issue and coordinate to resolve the issue with offshore team
• Build & maintain all client deliverables
• May manage a team onsite/offshore

Job Responsibilities:

• SAP ABAP Consultant with strong Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, Forms, Workflow (RICEFW) development experience and who can work with Business Process team, development team to support and develop solution on ABAP based technical solution.
• Exposure to SAP functional and technical capabilities in one or more of the following functional areas: WM, PE, MM, APO, EH&S, QM
• Proficiency in architecting and developing Enterprise applications in ABAPOO
• Very Strong working experience in Supply chain involving Material movement, Transfer Order, WM/IM activities
• Should have solid Experience in the below SCM (one or more Modules: WM, PE, MM, APO, EH&S, QM)
• Reports, Interface (IDOC).
• Able to handle a workload of multiple assignments with tight deadlines.
• Enhancements (BADI and User Exits).
• OOPS ABAP.
• Smart Forms.
• SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms, Dialog Programming and Data Dictionary.
• ABAP WebDynpro experience
• CDS/Odata

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience
• SAP ABAP Consultant with strong Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, Forms, Workflow (RICEFW) development experience and who can work with Business Process team, development team to support and develop solution on ABAP based technical solution.
• Exposure to SAP functional and technical capabilities in one or more of the following functional areas: WM, PE, MM, APO, EH&S, QM

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
