What We Need
The SAP Analyst is responsible for creation and maintenance of variant configuration within SAP and other production automation software for operations. They are able to identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting performance. They Define, design, and guide development and implementation of efficient and effective systems. They are responsible for integrating purchased software/hardware and/or internally developed software solutions to meet requirements while providing appropriate ongoing project communication with management and end users.
What You'll Do
- Establish standard practices for: product modeling, configuration rules, pricing, promotions, etc. in coordination with product management
- Drive simplification to minimize product model complexity while still meeting North America business needs
- Lead functional teams to coordinate testing of each new release of toolset to ensure improvements are correct
- Work with Product Managers and Product Maintenance Specialists to determine improvements to the commercialization toolset
- Work with the Software Design Development team to design improvements and resolve defects to the satisfaction of the users
- Responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance distribution of VC master data documentation and specifications
- Initiates required documentation to implement new/ change a configured product
- Works closely with plants in coordinating shared master data and processes
- Development and maintenance of SAP programming and coordination of related projects
What You'll Need
- Extensive product knowledge is required
- SAP training creation and maintenance of product modeling toolset
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Travel as required to other Brady business units as needed
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience working with SAP Variant Configuration
- Experience working with ESKO Automation Software
