Job Description

Position: SAP APO PPDS

Location: Chicago, IL 60633

Below is the Job description for the position.

• This position requires an SAP APO PPDS/ GATP Consultant for the project.

• You will be intensely involved in understanding the overall system landscape and different functionalities modeled in SAP APO PPDS. you will be responsible for resolving Support Issues as per SLA and also working on minor enhancements to existing functionalities and onboarding new functionalities within the existing overall end-to-end solution

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in SAP APO PPDS.

• Job configuration and scheduling, and performance and utilization improvement.

• Understanding and hands-on experience of S/4 HANA Production planning and execution process including S/4 HANA embedded PPDS especially complex production planning master data, integration with embedded PPDS and external APO system, MRP execution, Interface technology to transfer IDOC and RFC call to Legacy system

• Understand the Process industry or Steel industry Production process

• Strong understanding of working with Stock and Order models, including understanding variant configuration and its integration into the planning process.

• Facilitates the support of SAP APO module (PPDS, GATP, DP - Demand Planning, SNP - Supply Network Planning), Production break-fix issues, and maintenance/enhancement changes to ensure a stable production environment and enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction

• Troubleshooting SAP APO & integrated related system/process/user issues related to Design, configuration and Master and Transaction data and WRICEF objects, Design, configuration and testing, documentation, training of relevant processes
