SAP Basis Architect

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology

As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Architect in IBM Consulting you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your primary responsibilities include:

• Strategic Solutions Design for S/4 HANA Implementation: Design and configure solutions for S/4 HANA implementations and migrations by using an agile framework.
• Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice Advocacy: Share technical inputs and best practices to the delivery team to conduct successful outcomes for our clients.
• Customer-Centric Implementation Enhancement: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and customize a plan to take their implementations to the next level.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 14+ years in SAP Basis with HANA
• Working knowledge on SAP sizing principles (Fresh implementations Migrations version Upgrade and S/4Conversions).
• Should have handled migration projects as an Architect and Technical Migration Lead for any public cloud ( Azure AWS Google Cloud & IBM Cloud).
• Should have strong skillset in SAP HANA & SAP ASE and any other Database (Oracle MS SQL DB2 MaxDB) capable to handle architecture discussions.
• Must possess good understanding of IAAS components of any of Public Cloud ( VMs Storage Backup tools HÀ & DR features) well versed in Cloud Bill of Material creation and analysis.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Capable to work with Cloud vendors to provide best fit architecture for customers.
• Should be capable of providing Architecture guidelines on Cloud native HighAvailability Disaster Recovery Backup tools.
• Should have broader knowledge about Networking components ( Hub and spoke design DMZ Subnets Gateways Load balancers etc)
