SAP Basis Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities
• Work closely with the infrastructure team for issue escalation and resolution patch releases upgrades performance tuning and monitoring.
• Provide technical support and advise requirements related to system operational performance.
• Evaluate periodic EWA reports plan and coordinate corrective actions to address detected issues.
• Assessment of SAP Security Notes / Hot news – deployment of applicable SAP notes with high CVSS score through all the systems using a structured methodology ASAP.
• Validate the outcomes scope and effectiveness of system & interface monitoring.
• Specify maintain and coordinate execution of activities planned in SAP maintenance calendar (Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades and projects).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration in an international IT-environment.
• Participation in 2 or more Upgrade projects.
• Strong coordination skills to monitor analyze plan and execute corrective actions related to service delivery in scope especially for incident change problem management as well as for service request management.
• Experience withs some of the following product: SAP Business Objects (BO BI) Process Orchestration GRC – Access Control OpenText Need4Viz SAP Single Sign-On SAP Enable Now SAP Cloud Connector SAP Archive Server SAP Identity Management (IdM).
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate to business users and IT community.
