Job Description
As a Package Consultant at IBM get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clientsβ business environment and achieve business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
β’ Perform system upgrades patching and enhancements.
β’ Monitor and maintain database performance and monitor maintain and enhance middleware technology.
β’ Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution.
β’ Create and maintain system documentation including technical specifications and procedures.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new SAP functionality and improve system performance.
β’ Monitor system performance and provide proactive maintenance as needed.
β’ Provide guidance and support to junior BASIS team members.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
β’ Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
β’ Strong knowledge of SAP architecture system administration and troubleshooting.
β’ Experience with SAP Fiori administration.
β’ Experience with Java PI and GRC administration
β’ Experience with SAP system upgrades patching and enhancement packages.
β’ Experience with SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Focused Build.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport persuades others and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
β’ Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
SAP Basis certification or related SAP certification
β’ Experience with HANA administration
β’ Experience working on an agile team
