CACI is seeking a Configuration Manager and SAP Solution Manager ChaRM professional with the strategic skills and experience to manage, update, and sustain a mature change control process. You will be supporting a large public sector client with a multifaceted environment using SAP and system development life cycle best practices to enhance our systems and support our agile solution methodology.

Your work on this project will directly contribute toward feeding school children via the National School Lunch Program; assisting in emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic; and assisting with the Food Distribution Program by working on a Salesforce subsystem called the Integrated Food Management System (IFMS) to serve the Indian Tribal Organizations. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate configuration management activities in close collaboration with the Release Manager and project team.
  • Control and execute the transport management process for migrating changes across SAP ECC, CRM, SRM, Portal, and other managed systems during planned and ad hoc go-lives.
  • Provide support of SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM components (e.g.: Transport Management System (TMS), Enhanced Change and Transport System (CTS+), etc.) across the n+1 landscapes.
  • Manage the weekly customer-facing Defect Review Board (DRB) process and coordinate prioritization of defects for the backlog.
  • Work with the Application Life-cycle management (ALM) Team to configure, manage and enhance the Operational Control Center (OCC) monitoring processes which oversee the enterprise landscape environments.
  • Coordinate with the Solution Manager support team to identify and implement new capabilities, performance improvements, and process enhancements to the configuration management toolset.


Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Solution Manager ITSM configuration and workflow setup
  • Configuration management expertise in an fast-paced agile environment
  • Experience working with third party vendors and service providers
  • Ability to work individually (self-motivated) and within a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively through various formats with:
    • Management - providing status information, suggesting corrective actions, and taking direction when decisions are made
    • Diverse customer organizations - accepting guidance and feedback on requirements and deliverables
  • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation to gain access to government systems and facilities (U.S. Person status required)


Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience planning, implementing, and supporting SAP Solution Manager system landscapes on more than one full life cycle project
  • One or more of the following SAP Certifications:
  • SAP Certification Technology Associate - SAP Solution Manager (Root Cause Analysis) 7.1 SP8 or later
  • SAP Certification Technology Associate - SAP Solution Manager (E2E Solution Operations) 7.1 SP8 or later
  • SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP HANA
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA 1.0
  • Other relevant SAP Solution Manager or HANA Certification
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $64,600-$132,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
