The Role

Dematic/KION is looking for SAP Control-M Administrator as part of the Global Service SAP Authorization, Job Control & Output Management Team responsible for SAP Security and Authorizations and Batch Job creation and administration in KION Group IT.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

• Managing, administering, and optimizing batch job processes with BMC Control-M (mainly SAP jobs)
• Monitoring of workflow and process automation requests in the job network
• Creation of Control-M jobs including verifying the job documentation
• Consultation and assistance for new job requests to support user’s requirements
• Providing production support/troubleshooting for Control-M application or infrastructure in the on-call service outside of regular working hours
• Reporting and handling job aborts and errors
• Working on the occurring issues/incidents and ensuring completion within the agreed deadline via Remedy Tickets

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in servicing and maintaining the BMC Control-M environment tool in the SAP environment
• Experience in Control-M Scheduling and Administration
• Good knowledge of Linux Operating system and SAP Basis
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, DOS Batch, Linux Shell scripting)
• Technology stack you’ll be familiar with - Oracle Linux or Red Hat Linux, SAP Basis.
• Ability for problem analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience of PLOSSYS or LRS VSPX Printing Management system
• Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2). (German is a plus)
• Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
