SAP Data Migration developer

The main duties of the Digital SAP Data Migration developer are:

· Source to target implementation of data Extraction, Transformation and Load programs using SAP Data Service tool.

· SAP Data Service expertise in Troubleshooting/debugging and tool configuration.

· Review and help implementing any change required in the loading method: S/4 ABAP (optional), Migration Cockpit, BAPI, IDOC and LSMW.

· Data Quality rules implementation using SAP Information Steward or any other Quality tool.

· Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand legacy data structures and create data mapping documents.

· Innovate and accelerate the Data Migration projects.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

· Graduated from engineering, computer science, or Digital school, Master's degree or equivalent.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years' work experience on SAP Data migration using SAP Data Service tool. Experience with any other Migration tool is an advantage.

• Experience in Migrating data from SAP ECC or non-SAP DB to S/4 Hana.

• Deep expertise on SAP Data Service (hands-on), ABAP (optional), LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit. Knowledge about other Migration methodologies it is a plus.

• Experience working with IT service management tools (ServiceNow, Solman)

• Ability to work on multiple Data Migration projects in parallel.

• At ease with Microsoft Office tools and in general with IS tools.

• Functional knowledge of any SAP module is a significant advantage.

• Experience with AI tools in data migration is also considered an advantage.
