SAP Data Migration Senior Manager

Description

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Can be based anywhere in the US.

The Data Conversion Lead will work with IT managers, Business owners to execute the data conversion cutover related activities and provide the strategy, approach, checklists, detailed cutover planning and drive the project cutovers successfully.

Responsible for creation and successful execution of data conversion cutover plans.

Develops policies, procedures, communications and resource plans, contingencies for the successful execution of cutovers.

Escalation point of contact for data conversion cutover issues and proactively identify issues and bring in appropriate work streams to ensure smooth execution of cutovers including staffing and overall logistics as required.

Extensive Knowledge on SAP Data services specific to the Data migration architecture and solution delivery

Data conversion related functional knowledge on SAP functional modules such as OTC,PTP,MTD,RTR and EAM functional areas.

In Depth Business & Technical Interaction with customers and SME's.

Experience in translating Legacy requirements into S/4 interims of writing Design documents

Knowledge in SAFe agile project delivery methodology

Extensive knowledge in SAP BODS ETL and Data Quality Design, development, and delivery. In-depth knowledge in ETL performance optimization

Determine go-live readiness criteria, socialize them with key stakeholders and obtain requisite approvals

Plan and execute mock cutovers to help teams prepare for the final production cutover.

RESPONSIBILITES

Build and document detailed cutover tasks and acquire signoff from customer SME and various stake holders associated.

Liaise with multivendor teams for E2E, ETL and mock cutover conversion activities.

Support SAP data conversion solution build and delivery experience.

Perform data validation, cleansing and transformation using BODS and SDA/SDI/SDQ methodologies. Proficient in native HANA SQL and views.

Work with PepsiCo business resources and value streams to determine the required technical support/logistics and resources is available for successful cutovers.

Support the ETL development teams with resolution of queries during the build phase

Conduct sessions with multiple stake holders, identify risk areas and provide solutions for successful solution for data conversion.

Lead deployment planning activities with IT, business and third party teams

Manage the scope and schedule of cutover activities. Manges risks and issues associated with the cutover and prepare appropriate mitigation plans

QUALIFICATIONS

12 Years of relevant SAP experience

Technical Skills: SAP Data services, SAP HANA

Functional Skills: SAP S4 OTC,PTP,MTD,RTR

1 Year/ 2 project experience in data conversion cutover activities for SAP implementation/migration projects.

Ability to manage and drive day to day deliverables, go lives, and cutover related to large scale SAP Projects .Familiarity with SAP Deployment and Cutover methodologies
