Position Title: SAP Developer - ABAP

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works closely with the functional teams to understand and validate the functional requirements;
• Defines, documents, and maintains the detailed technical specifications for the specific requested business requirements and functionality;
• Demonstrates experience and understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, information technology practices and methods;
• Co-ordinates and interacts with SAP and external systems in design and development of the objects;
• Assists with the planning of the delivery of the technical design specifications;
• Prepares comprehensive and thorough documentation of the developed code;
• Executes unit testing to ensure the newly developed program performs as requested;
• Works with the functional teams to support integration and user acceptance testing and executes related bug fixing;
• Assists the SAP support specialists by troubleshooting and debugging and implementing SAP OSS notes if needed;
• Provides technical support to the various functional teams on ABAP programming related matters;
• Plans and manages day-to-day activities and provided status updates to appropriate levels of management, managed risks, and facilitated technical oversight of the project;
• Performs job controls & background job scheduling;
• Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners and project consultants; and
• Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
• 5 years of experience in EACH of the following:
  • SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Workbench;
  • Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Objects;
  • Web DynPro; Data Dictionary;
  • Remote Function Call (RFC);
  • using ABAP List Viewer (ALV) reports;
  • using smart forms;
  • using Adobe interactive forms;
  • Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit (LTMC);
  • Batch Data Communication (BDC);
  • Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI);
  • Business Add-ins (BADI);
  • User exits;
  • Workflow;
  • integrating SAP with external systems using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Intermediate Document (IDOC), and SAP web service;
  • SAP Core Data Services (CDS) and data modeling for HANA, ABAP managed database procedures (AMDB), and database procedure proxies;
  • Bank DMEE interface configurations;
  • XI integration with TANDEM and Hybris System;
  • SAP Fiori;
  • UI5, Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) and SAP NetWeaver Gateway;
  • Open data protocol (ODATA);
  • JavaScript Object Notation (JSON);
  • Extensible Markup Language (XML) services;
  • Mobile applications and SAP Cloud Platform Integration;
  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integration with Radio Frequency UI (RFUI);
  • SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR);
  • SAP Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R); and
  • SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) 6.0 systems.
• Work from home available. Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Kennesaw, GA office.
• Requires approximately 25% travel to other company worksite locations.
• Experience may be gained concurrently.
