SAP ERP SME _ Contract _ Remote

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an SAP ERP SME with Government Sector experience for one of our reputed clients. This is a contract role, a remote position.

Overview:

SAP ERP Subject Matter Expert with specialized experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, particularly within government agencies. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SAP ERP solutions and a successful track record of implementing and optimizing these systems in the government sector. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the implementation of SAP ERP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, within large city government organizations or departments.
2. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop implementation strategies, and ensure alignment with government regulations and compliance standards.
3. Provide expert guidance and support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to deployment and post-implementation support.
4. Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization using SAP ERP solutions.
5. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights into best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the SAP ERP landscape.

Required Skills:

6. Extensive experience (5+ years) working with SAP ERP solutions including SAP S/4HANA Cloud public edition.
7. Proven expertise in implementing and configuring SAP ERP systems, with a focus on meeting the unique needs and requirements of government agencies.
8. Strong understanding of government regulations, compliance standards, and security protocols related to ERP implementations.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of resolving complex technical issues in SAP ERP environments.
10. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions.

Qualifications:

11. Prior experience working on ERP projects within government agencies or related sectors.
12. SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud) preferred.
13. Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
14. Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and project meetings.
