SAP Finance and Group Reporting Consolidation Analyst

The SIE IT – Corporate Applications department implements, enhances, and supports products and services that underpin PlayStation’s business operations. SAP is a strategic solution in this space, and the platform currently comprises SAP S/4HANA, BW and IBP. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance and Group Reporting Analyst to drive, manage and support the delivery of technical solutions to ensure that the platform continues to meet the needs of Finance globally.
What you will be doing:
S/4HANA Group Reporting is SAPs strategic solution for financial closing on group level (legal consolidation, management consolidation). In this role, you will support the end users from a functional and/or technical perspective and work closely with end users and business partners to analyse and review their business requirements or processes. You will participate in process improvement initiatives in Financial Close, Consolidation, and Reporting areas workshops.
Collect business requirements and apply industry leading best practice financial concepts to translate them into solution design. You will perform initial setup, prototype, configuration, and perform testing accordingly to support the design sessions and to fulfil the business requirements. Document the required configurations for the GR solution per the blueprint, including documenting test results.

- Demonstrable technical SAP ERP S/4 HANA experience, with proven hands-on experience of FI and COPA configuration, with skilled understanding of underlying SAP financial table structures and data elements.
- Working successfully across the full lifecycle of technology-enabled change: from requirements definition through solution design, build, testing to transition to live operation.
- Domain skills – Legal Consolidation, Management reporting, IFRS standards, Purchase method, Equity, Proportionate consolidation, Accounting experience.
- Sound understanding of the following areas:
- SAP Group Reporting on S/4 HANA.
- MDG/SD/MM/Purchasing and their key integration points with Finance functional areas.
- Working effectively with offshore / near shore service providers
- Working with a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences within a matrix organisation to define scope and gather business requirements
- Excellent at influencing and negotiation, comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and willing to challenge them based on sound reasoning.
- Excellent written, verbal, social and decision-making skills,
- Self-motivated, highly organised, working well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 3 years of SAP Group reporting.
- Technical and functional knowledge of consolidation on SAP platform
- Good understanding of Group Reporting integration of FICO
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive business requirements gathering workshops, conference room pilots and client discussions.
- BPC planning or BW knowledge or CDS view will be an advantage
- Create architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the development team
- Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.
- Writing of functional/technical specifications for custom solutions and interfaces
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams
- Analytical and Communication skills
- Planning and Co-ordination skills

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.Â
