TEAM OVERVIEW

KKR’s Finance, Tax, and Accounting team oversees the firm’s tax compliance, credit and accounting, and reporting matters to produce analytical insights that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team is responsible for designing efficient frameworks through internal and external data and reports to understand the market environment and business dynamics and implement best practices. The team also collaborates closely with KKR’s Legal and Compliance team to ensure compliance and accurate reporting and performance of our corporate tax entities related to our investment funds. The Finance, Tax, and Accounting team also functions as a support for clients, from onboarding to investor communications and overall relationship management across all asset class, as well as responding to any ad-hoc tax-related requests.

POSITION SUMMARY

The KKR Finance team has implemented SAP’s S4/HANA cloud-based ERP tool to maintain the general ledger of our various Management Companies.  We are looking to hire an SAP Finance & Business Analyst who will work in close partnership with the Finance and IT departments in order to support the day to day SAP operations including oversight of the Firm’s master data. This role will report directly into the Private Market Management Company’s Controller & Director, Finance.

This role will support all global SAP users across our Private Markets, Credit and Capital Markets businesses and will be responsible for testing system upgrades, implementation of new projects and managing ad-hoc projects.  The role will also have direct responsibility in overseeing data management including the creation and alignment of the Firm’s various entities, cost center structure, chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies.  This will ensure the right consistency and execution as we continue to expand our business. The ideal candidate would have a unique combination of financial / business acumen, process and control mind set and effective change management capabilities.  The candidate should also have excellent oral / written communication skills, and be a cultural fit with an emphasis on teamwork, diversity, excellence and results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test system upgrades
  • Implement new projects and manage ad-hoc projects
  • Oversee data management including the creating and alignment of the Firm’s various entities, cost center structure, chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience preferably in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • SAP FICO & PS (Project Systems) experience required; certified preferred
  • CPA preferred

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS

  • Proficiency with SAP products and activities required. Areas including but not limited to, general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end processes, cost center and profit center accounting, project systems, COA and hierarchy maintenance, asset accounting, accounts payable & accounts receivable
  • Works as a Subject Matter Expert with the KKR-SAP community, providing support to all end-users
  • Serve as a liaison between the Finance and Tech teams in all aspects surrounding the SAP products (S4/HANA, BPC, SAC, Concur, etc.)
  • Serve as a lead for all system upgrades and enhancements including troubleshooting and testing
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multi-task several projects on tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Able to connect the dots across the various business lines and identify process enhancements, where applicable
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to develop client relationships with mutual trust and integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with individuals across all levels in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Proactive team-player that enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment and pitching in on other projects
  • A self-starter who can identify areas for enhancement, provide suggestions to improve processes and execute on them
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced and high volume environment

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$170,000$200,000 USD
