SAP Group Reporting Management Consultant

The role will involve deployment of modern SAP Analytics/Reporting offerings requiring both functional and technical expertise to develop SAP Group Reporting solutions and best address our customers’ needs across all sectors of TruQua and IBM within North America.

In this role the SAP Group Reporting Management Consultant will work directly with customers for hands-on delivery as well as strategic insights on how to run programs/projects efficiently from blueprint to go-live. This position requires the ability to work and communicate as part of a high-performance consulting team in a fast-paced environment.

This individual will be responsible for leading small project teams as well as serve as an individual contributor ensuring the quality of team delivery thought leadership keeping the team members utilized growing our practice and deepening our relationships with key partners. This candidate will be highly knowledgeable with required SAP Group Reporting product capabilities business processes solution mechanics and configuration requirements as well as integration with other technologies. This individual will also counsel client executives and leaders on the benefits delivered by SAP as a strategic asset to their broader Finance Transformation journey.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Hands-on SAP Group Reporting skills including data modelling process setup data governance integration frameworks Global Accounting Hierarchies and Group Reporting Data Collections; specifically ETL and Web Forms
• Hands-on experience creating Group Reporting configuration Intercompany elimination rule setup in GR Analysis for Office Reporting rules for Statements of Cash Flow and Changes in Shareholders Equity
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of/experience in SAP BPC Consolidation and US GAAP for Financial Reporting. Minimum of one full cycle SAP BPC Consolidation implementation
• Hands-on experience in SAP SEM-BCS EC-CS FI-LC as well as ECC BI BW and a solid accounting and finance background
• Hands on experience in group reporting configuration setup FS items (attributes) setup and mapping Ownership structure Intercompany elimination rule setup in GR Consolidation of investment – Equity pickup currency translation Validation rules setup
• Understanding of cash flow and ability to configure cash flow rules in GR
• Strong understanding of FP&A Finance processes and SAP S/4HANA Finance Journal Entries interfaces such as Chart of Accounts Cost Center hierarchies cost elements profit center hierarchies company code setup etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Background in SAP BPC Consolidations / SAP Analytics Cloud Planning / SAP COPA / Margin Analysis / CO / Universal Allocations
• Solid experience in or exposure to SAP Finance modules (FI-CO CO-PA) a plus
• Knowledge of upcoming changes in SAP Analytics & Finance as well as an eagerness to learn prototype and grow expertise in the latest relevant financial technologies.
