SAP HR Payroll Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.
You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience style performance reliability and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Build automate and release solutions based on clients priorities and requirements.
• Explore and discover risks and resolving issues that affect release scope schedule and quality and bring to the table potential solutions.
• Make sure that all integration solutions meet the client specifications and are delivered on time.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience of SAP HR processes across the areas such as Payroll on-premise (USA Payroll) & Replication / Data migration and Must have experience in writing custom Personnel Calculation Rules (PCR)/Schema & Payroll implementation
• Knowledge of US federal state and local tax withholding requirements as well as experience in configuring SAP Payroll to calculate and report taxes accurately.
• Familiarity with US labor laws Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Affordable Care Act (ACA) and other relevant regulations impacting payroll processing.
• Understanding of US employee benefits programs such as health insurance retirement plans (401(k)) and stock options and the ability to integrate these benefits into SAP HR/Payroll.
• Proficiency in configuring time management functionality in SAP HR to track employee work hours overtime and leave according to US regulations.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in managing garnishments child support orders wage attachments and other involuntary deductions within SAP Payroll ensuring compliance with federal and state laws &
• Configuration Knowledge of Post payroll processing like DME Bank Transfer Payroll Posting in FI etc.
• Knowledge of Payroll integration with Time/Benefits/FI etc Payroll reports Statutory reports and Experience of Issue analysis & providing Payroll support
