SAP HUB Engineering Domain Specialist

Description

As the SAP Hub Engineering Domain Expert for the North America Transformer Business, you will be the driving force behind the seamless integration of SAP tools and processes within our engineering domain. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that our transformer business operations are optimized for efficiency, innovation, and global impact.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up and support SAP for Engineering functions /tools that support BOM, Quality, routings, and materials.
• Act as liaison between engineering teams and SAP teams to add/modify functionality in SAP.
• Train users and maintain configurations and data mapping in SAP related to the engineering function.
• Provide technical support to data analysis and design tool team for data interface between SAP and design tools.
• Provide technical support to factory teams on SAP related questions pertaining to engineering data.
• Support REIWA project transition for HUB Engineering Support using SAP as a main tool for long term strategy.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of SAP experience. Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering preferred.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Proven expertise in SAP modules such as SAP PLM, CAD Integration, and Engineering Change Management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think creatively to develop tailored solutions.
