Job Responsibilities:
The SAP Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimizing SAP logistics
modules to ensure efficient material flow inventory accuracy and production support
within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with
supply chain production procurement and IT teams to drive system improvements and
operational excellence.• Manage and support SAP logistics modules including MM (Materials Management) WM/EWM (Warehouse Management) and PP (Production Planning)• Ensure accurate material master data BOMs and inventory transactions within SAP• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues impacting logistics warehouse and production operations• Support inbound/outbound logistics processes including goods receipt putaway picking and shipping• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system workflows and material flow efficiency• Lead or support SAP enhancements upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and transaction integrity• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SAP logistics processes• Provide training and support to end users on SAP functionality• Analyze data and generate reports to support KPIs planning and decision-making
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Business Information Systems or related field• 3-7+ years of experience in SAP logistics within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)• Strong knowledge of SAP modules: MM WM/EWM PP (SD is a plus)• Experience with inventory control warehouse operations and production support• Proven ability to troubleshoot SAP issues and improve business processes• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills• Ability to work in a cross-functional fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications• Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier environment• Familiarity with JIT/JIS lean manufacturing and plant logistics• SAP S/4HANA experience• Experience with system implementations or migrations
