As an SAP Master Data Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of master data within the SAP system, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization. You will lead a team of master data specialists and collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain data governance processes. Your expertise in SAP and data management will be critical in driving efficiency and improving data-related business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Master Data Lead with hands on experience with Transactional Data and experience with data migration cockpit.
- Develop and implement master data management strategies and policies within the SAP environment.
- Lead the master data team in creating, updating, and maintaining master data records in compliance with data governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and resolve data-related issues in SAP modules.
- Conduct regular data quality checks, audits, and cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of master data processes.
- Monitor data maintenance activities and ensure adherence to data security and confidentiality protocols.
- Analyze data-related challenges and provide actionable insights to optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support data migration and integration projects.
- Stay up-to-date with SAP advancements and industry best practices in master data management.
- Continuously improve and streamline master data processes to enhance overall data quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hands on experience with data migration cockpit is required.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in SAP master data management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems, including modules like SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or other relevant SAP solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data lifecycle processes.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team, with the ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies to identify trends, anomalies, and data improvement opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and proactively propose data-driven solutions to business challenges.
- SAP certification(s) in Master Data Management or related fields will be a plus.
