SAP Order Fulfillment Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a managing consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions and be a trusted business advisor with deep understanding of SAP Accelerate delivery methodology or equivalent and associated work products. You will lead design workshops support business development activities and mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge. There are opportunities for you to acquire new skills work across different disciplines take on new challenges and develop a comprehensive understanding of various industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Strategic SAP Solution Leadership: Leading the technical design development and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity amplification and maintainability that meet client needs.
• Team Delivery leadership: Lead and manage high performing team of SAP consultants to deliver work products on time budget and quality.
• Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation leveraging your functional expertise of SAP with clients and team members and working with the latest technologies.

Provides expert level business process guidance on SAP Order Fulfillment (OF) requirements and design. Designs and configures business processes in SAP to procure goods and services by converting sales orders and/or third-party requests to purchase requests (PRs) and converting PRs to purchase orders or buyer funding documents.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Professional Expertise with SAP: In-depth knowledge and experience in SAP OF processes including Order management Order Fulfillment Pricing Delivery Returns Rebates Backorder processing Billing User Exits and Credit Management
• 10+ years SAP experience
• Experience in requirements gathering analysis design development documentation test (unit functional integration regression stress and user acceptance) implementation and postproduction support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP SD Order To Cash
• Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized technical engineering scientific managerial business or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional 4 years relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher – US Citizenship is required

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5 or more years SAP OF experience
• Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP
• Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures
• Federal experience
• Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
• Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills
