SAP PO/CPI Senior Consultant

POSITION OVERVIEW

The SAP Expert PO/CPI reports to the SAP Development, Integration Manager. This responsibility includes:

• Working in team of experts, proactive in production support, flexible to support multiple projects spanning in different time zone.
• Independent contribution in Design, Plan, Build and maintain interfaces using SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration), SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
• Independently communicate with stakeholders, investigate root cause analysis and resolve issues single handedly.
• Prompt in status reporting.

This role will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Global SAP support to business and SAP functional team – 100%

• Works on SAP PO, CPI projects according to the HBF Roadmap
• Works on SAP Upgrades, Rollouts, Releases which includes PO/CPI functionality needed
• Effectively manage the SAP PI and SAP DAE Engine

• Work with development and business teams from project initiation through to production implementation, representing both EAI and PI.
• Work with SAP Basis teams to ensure PI environment availability through effective proactive monitoring and prevention to avoid unplanned outages.
• Ensure SAP PI application failures are handled effectively and resolved in a timely fashion.
• Analyze dumps, traces, and logs in order to determine root cause of specific problems.
• Identify and prioritize enhancements to existing SAP PI interfaces.
• Manages working with external consultants

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or adequate education
• 7-12 years of experience in IT, including experience in a large multi-national manufacturing business.
• Experience in SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration preferred 7.4 single stack and higher
• Experience: in System Landscape Directory (SLD), NetWeaver Administrator (NWA)
• Hands-on experience in Interface Design & Configuration using SAP-PI
• Experience on SAP PI Java only stack environment
• Hands-on experience in ABAP, JAVA & XSLT mapping
• Well versed with different xml standards, EDI formats
• Experience with SAP-DAE De-centralized Adapter Engine in developing & configuring DAE
• Experience with SAP-PI Alert Management together with SAP SolMan monitoring
• Experience in defining & configuring adapters such as IDoc, File, RFC, JMS, JDBC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, Web Service etc
• Experience in Encryption, Decryption mechanism i.e. PGP, SSH, X.509, client certificate etc.
• Experience in NetWeaver administrator activities
• Hand-on experience in developing Proxy Interfaces (Client/Server)
• Experience in defining High Availability of SAP-PI systems, Message Security etc.
• Experience with developing B2B scenarios using SAP-PI and Integration Advisor
• Experience in SAP PI to PO upgrade/Migration.
• Experience in handling SAP PI/PO on Azure is preferred.
• Experience in SAP CPI, Standard iFlow configuration, Custom iFlow development, local and exception subprocesses. Expert in java mapping, groovy scripts, xslt mapping.
• Expertise in handling integration using ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, data conversion.
• Experience in various CPI pallet options, security artifacts, encryption/decryption mechanism.
• Well Versed with SAP BTP cockpit
• Should have experience in integrating S/4 HANA to CPI.
• Well versed with NWDS or eclipse development tool.
• CTS+ transport experience
• Experience in PI and AIF integration and reporting
• Experience with developing e-SOA applications using SAP-PI and other SAP components
• Experience with SAP-PI industry adapters AS2, CIDX, EDI, B2B Add-On etc.
• Knowledge in ABAP development, ALE/IDoc Development, AIF Configuration
• Experience in non-SAP EAI tools and their integration with SAP-PI
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Problem solving skills
• Business acumen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT or comparable IT education
• Certified SAP PI Developer
• Any other IT industry certificate will have added advantage
• Experience working in global teams.
