This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the current S4/HANA landscape to support our company's dynamic global needs. Each team member will contribute to building Solutions within the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives. We are currently looking for innovative and driven S4 Basis Administrator to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate and contribute to daily stand-up meetings with the agile development team in a quest to rapidly deploy new solutions. This team is a combination of Simplot employees and contracted workforce where the Simplot team is the architect of the solution.
• Utilize agile methodologies for continuous delivery of solutions. The team works in pre-defined sprints where deliverables are collectively established by the team members in a bottoms up approach of scope definition.
• Design, develop, and test the scoped solutions and collaborate with developer peers on the long-term sustainability of that solution.
• Define and deliver Proof of Concept Products in anticipation of their current/future utilization.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to peer developers as well as solution architects. Simplot's development culture is based on peer collaboration where your work is rewarded as a contribution to the entire enterprise architecture.
• Participate in continuous discovery of new solutions that will utilize the existing SAP Product Suite already procured by Simplot.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

• 5+ Years of proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
• Working knowledge of Fiori / UI5 is preferred.
• S/4HANA DB experience is preferred.
• Expertise in applying SAP Add-ons and extensions is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP HA/DR and backup/restore technologies is preferred.
• Solid understanding of managing hybrid integration solutions (Cloud/On-Premise) is beneficial.
• Solid understanding of the development lifecycle utilization of SAP Solution Manager is helpful.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is helpful.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are required.
• Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development are required.
