SAP - Sales & Distribution (SD) Functional Consultant

You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Provides expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP’s SAP requirements and design. Requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP SD to create and process sales orders including development of quotations orders and invoices and subsequent billing runs. Must have expertise integrating with MM FI and FM to integrate functionality.

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 10 or more years of SAP experience. Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional area/module
• Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD)
• Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering analysis design development documentation test (unit functional integration regression stress and user acceptance) implementation and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP SD module (in a Tier 3 environment)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized technical engineering scientific managerial business or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 5 or more years SD experience
• Experience with DoD and Navy ERP IT Architectures – Federal Experience
• Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
