SAP Technical Manager (ABAP)

Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):

$104,600.00 - $194,200.00

At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

The Role:

We are seeking an SAP ABAP Developer who is responsible for all Development related efforts. They are expected to provide high quality development solutions to Business process and all other systems that integrate into or interface with SAP.

Description:

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
• Leads a combination of onsite and remote resources, across multiple technology stacks, collaborating with ad-hoc work teams comprised of
• Leverages SAP and other programming best practices to create structured and reusable code to quickly and efficiently implement new businesses or functionality into SAP and to provide ongoing support of existing systems and processes.
• Conducts software and process design, development, and implementation for new functionalities and enhancements to business systems.
• Prepares technical specifications and develops the necessary programs and development objects.
• Identifies technology and application development opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Works on critical and complex projects where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making strategic solution recommendations. Review and analyze technical needs.
• Works closely with SAP functional (WM, SD, MM, PP, FICO, EDI, etc.) personnel to implement and deploy changes to SAP and other integrated or interfaced systems.
• Responsible for initial technical testing of all development.
• Develops interfaces and system solutions using ABAP programs, RFCs, WSDL's, SAP Script, Smartforms, LSMW's, etc. Present design reviews to extended teams of major changes.
• Participates in gathering and documenting business requirements. Assists in supporting business user acceptance testing. Assists in the investigation and resolution of system or process related issues.
• Develops cutting edge SAP/Cloud solutions that support the company's strategies and provide a high degree of end user satisfaction
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain SAP suite applications, ABAP, HANA, BW/BI and applications in other technologies.• Assist in the design effort and provide work estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field Minimum of 10-12+ years Applications Development experience developing with SAP ABAP, RFCs, SAP Script, Smartforms, EDI etc.
• Minimum of 3+ full life cycle projects. Experience of EDI related interfaces Experience with development of SAP RF screens and associated functionality.
• Good understanding and Prior Experience with SAP HEC
• Strong SAP technical, design, interaction, and leadership skills are required. A critical component to this role is the ability to multi-task, maintain proactive as well as efficient communication, and identify critical issues requiring escalation. • Work with key stakeholder teams to clearly define and document project scope, ensure key questions and decisions impacting project are clearly captured, resolved and documented
• Must possess exceptional communication skills and be able technical designs to IT functional colleagues and non-technical business personnel
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment
• Understanding of the cross module integration points between PP, SD, MM, FI, and logistics Experience in solution manager, business process monitoring, and business process analytics is a plus. The ability to develop, execute, and document test plans. Ability to proactively identify risks and propose mitigation plans for same.
