SAP Test Lead/ EAM
Job Description
SAP Test Lead - EAM/Work Management is responsible for coordinating QA efforts for SAP EAM and work management applications, and related testing activities.
- Should play a significant role in coordinating all testing activities, building a program level test strategy, implementing test governance and processes
- Run the day-to-day testing operations within project along with implementation partner/System Integrator
Knowledge/Skills:
- Must have 7+ years of experience managing and coordinating the QA efforts of an large scale SAP S/4 HANA project implementation, knows the S/4 processes and workstreams
- Strong Business knowledge in the SAP IS-Utilities, ISU-CCS business processes in Business/Technical master data (BP, Contract partner, Contracts, Connection Objects, premise, Installation, PODs)
- Strong functional knowledge of the SAP EAM and work management modules
- Hands on Testing experience on SAP EAM and work management modules
- Good understanding of integrating customer solutions with external non-SAP solutions
- Should have exposure to SAP cloud technologies
- Should have worked on test management tools like HP ALM & JIRA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills
- Experience with software development methodologies/processes such as (but not limited to): Waterfall, Agile/Scrum and Shift-Left-approach to make testing more efficient and can adjust to a hybrid form of methodology
- Nice to have - Technical understanding of SAP cloud applications, web services, server-side components and APIs
Key Accountabilities:
- Ability to create a program level Test Strategy, release level test plans and manage the delivery from requirement to stabilization phase
- Accountable for the planning and delivery of testing milestones for projects
- Will be working alongside the test lead of the implementation partner but will represent the client's interest at the same time
- Participate in design sessions and help designing, reviewing test scenarios as per industry standards
- Work with the Program/Project Managers, QA manager, business analyst, QA teams and other stakeholders to carry out testing activities during various phases
- Coordinate and plan UAT testing engaging business users and stakeholders
- Must track the testing progress in test management tool e.g. ALM and lead the defect triage meetings to prioritize the issues in Test
- Provide daily support to QA Senior Manager and project leadership on status, metrics, risks
- The ability to take direction and run with it and work with System Integrator/all stakeholders successfully
- Ensure consistent, timely and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for efficient operation and continuous improvement of testing processes and practices
