SAT Tutor

TPAPT, a consortium of over 12,000 local, independent education service firms is hiring several SAT/ACT Full Test Test Tutors for regular and predictable assignments with students in grades 9-12.

Candidates will need to have demonstrable experience of having tutored all sections of either the SAT or ACT, as well as, an intimate knowledge of the test structure, sections, and question types.

Requirements

• Strong ACT and/or SAT scores
• Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from a highly reputable university.
• At least 3 years of experience tutoring all sections of either the SAT or the ACT (or both)!
• Experience with adolescents and teaching the SAT and ACT - you need to have an ability to relate easily to teenagers!
• Strong academic background, as evidenced by high school, college, and graduate school grades.
• A true passion for teaching

Founder: Kevin Organisciak, MA/MEd

Kevin has a background in Educational Psychology and Organizational Behavior. He served as the Vice President of Kaplan Test Prep's Northeast Territory where his team delivered record level growth in CAGR, profitability, and most importantly, student score improvement.

In 2004, Kevin co-created the Kaplan Higher Score/Money Back Guarantee which, as it turns out, was an industry game-changer.

The basic premise of that guarantee required students and tutors to be mutually accountable for academic success. That "shared accountability" is foundational to all of the programs we support through TPAPT.
