Opportunity: The above client is looking for a Senior Satellite Design Engineer who will be responsible for the satellite, and satellite subsystem design and analysis.

Requirements: You have 3+ years of mechanical design experience on space systems and creating drawings in a professional environment.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

• Assemble comprehensive component and assembly drawings for tolerance stack ups and GD&T
• Architect the propulsion fluid systems and metallic structures
• Ability to work in a rapid pace of design environment
• Manage the design and analysis of the satellite and satellite subsystems

Required

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with SolidWorks, Femap/Nastran
• Satellite design experience
• Expert knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack ups

Ideal candidate

• Satellite thermal analysis experience
• Create large assembly models and drawings
• Experience with fluid systems and welded structures
• Experience with hardware design
