The Job:
On Air Scenic for CNN Studios to meet programming demand. CNN Design requires additional resources to meet the above requirements and to perform scenic maintenance, warehousing, shipping and special projects requiring build and fabrication demands.
The Daily:

• Manage and facilitate, while live on air, studio scenic elements for HLN and CNN domestic programming in the CNN Atlanta studios.
• Assist production and technical crew during run of show.
• Perform maintenance and repairs as required for any scenic studio elements.
• Set up studios according to director shot sheet prior to start of show.
• Set pieces, furniture, props, monitor placement, ect.
• Communication with entire production staff is a primary requirement of the job. Confer with in studio technical and production staff for any show needs they may have. Maintain constant communication with production team through studio headset coms
• During run of show, move scenic elements as directed.
• Perform any studio maintenance needed or requested by supervisors. *Maintain studio scenic tools, equipment, and inventory as needed
• Communicate, with supervisors, any needs or concerns received from studio directors and production teams.

The Essentials:

• Requires creativity, organization, maturity and ability to meet specific deadlines under stressful production conditions.
• Must have ability to work with and take direction from others.
• Must have ability to work varied hours as required to produce finished products.
• Knowledge of world news and current events.
• Scenic carpentry, Electrical, Production management, set decoration
