Summary of Role:

A Scheduling Coordinator is a professional who is focused on coordinating site visits and installations, ensuring crews have a dense and efficient schedule, and projects are completed on time and to company standards. In collaboration with cross-functional team members, a Schedule Coordinator oversees the installation milestone of a project’s lifecycle and ensures homeowners understand the scope of work required for their installation and that proper expectations are set.


A Schedule Coordinator will work directly with Operation leaders to drive installation to completion, will report to Supervisor to highlight scheduling and installation challenges and prohibitions to meeting team key results. The Schedule Coordinator team is considered one of the most important teams within our organization and has a direct impact on customer experience during installation, as well as corporate revenue goals.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Time management and planning

Knowledge of Salesforce

Fundamental reporting and Microsoft Excel skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously

Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed

Strong, effective written and verbal communication skills, both internally as well as with customers and partners

Extreme ownership of responsibilities and accomplishing goals

Liaising with Operations and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise

Statistical and mathematical skills and ability to apply such knowledge in practical situations when determining install durations and crew utilization


Minimum Qualifications:

Two plus years of Project or Account Management experience

Experience in residential home improvement project coordination or project management

Proven customer service background

Proven friendly telephone voice and demeanor

Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience using a CRM and/or project management software

Curious, always seeking to learn more and understand

Preferred Qualifications:

B.S. / B.A. degree and minimum 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience

Technical knowledge of solar system installations

NABCEP certification is a plus

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for working hours

Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable method

Able to position and move objects up to 10 pounds

Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency

The position requires travel with the potential of overnight stays between assigned facilities and various locations within the community. Less than or equal to 10% travel

Day to day work is completed in the office at personal computer M-F, first shift hours

Ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines, telephones, but occasionally may be above average for portions of the business day
