Job Description

Come join our growing project management team and contribute to our success in developing our expertise within CIMA+. We are currently recruiting a Scheduler to work for a major complex project. For this position, you will be working daily (5 days) directly in the office project site, which is in Mississauga.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the submittal of project schedules from the contractors and consultants and undertakes critical reviews to confirm that they are accurate, realistic, and logical
  • Evaluate the schedule impact of proposed changes to the projects and/or consultancy agreements in accordance with the contract terms
  • Identify potential and actual project-level schedule conflicts and work with the project delivery teams to resolve them
  • Maintain client level schedules and collaborate with other program schedulers to align and integrate schedule interfaces feed into the master program schedule.
  • Provide schedule reporting and critical path analysis in line with the program’s reporting requirements
  • Undertake schedule quality assurance and peer reviews
  • Support the QSRA process and work collaboratively with the Risk Manager and the Cost Manager to coordinate inputs
  • Coach, mentor, and support the career development of employees

Qualifications

  • Recognized diploma in engineering or relevant discipline
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in scheduling
  • Experienced in the creation and implementation of complex Work Breakdown Structures and the integration of several schedules / work plans
  • Experienced in the undertaking of Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA)
  • Proficient knowledge and experienced in use of Primavera P6 software
  • Familiar with the use of schedule quality assurance tools such as Acumen Fuse
  • Strong communicator and comfortable leading scheduling workshops and planning sessions including working with the contractor
