Job Description:
Provide Scheduling and PP&C integration Support for the Material & Process (M&P) Laboratory project under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
• Provide modifications and refinement of planning, resource allocation, and cost estimating processes.
• Provide planning estimating, scheduling, and technical capability management support
• Gather and input status/forecast changes to project schedules.
• Conduct “what-if” scenario analysis and work-around planning to provide project management with resource and schedule projections.
• Analyze budget and resource requirements for programs/projects in order to assure cost and schedule compatibility.
Experience Requirements:
• 17 years of applicable experience (12 years in Aerospace/Research and Development)
• Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
• Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
• Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
• Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.
