School Custodian

CIVICA Nevada is seeking an experienced and reliable team member who can focus on keeping our campus safe and running efficiently. Reporting to the School Principal and Office Manager, the Campus Monitor will engage with students, staff, and families and is an incredibly important member of our community. We seek applicants who want to help us ensure our school is organized and well-run. Minimum Qualifications Required: • High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.). • Experience working with children and youth. • Possesses the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and fingerprinting. The ideal candidate will also have: • The ability to form collaborative and supportive working relationships with other team members. • A growth mindset and strong ethical principles. • Excellent communication with youth and adults. • Strong organizational skills. • Skills as a self-manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Maintains a safe and secure school environment; • Remains mobile and visible by patrolling school corridors, restrooms, and multipurpose areas as well as outside fields and playgrounds; • Maintains alertness for problems likely to disrupt the educational process or to be injurious to persons or property; • Communicates throughout the day with the Office Manager regarding school-wide maintenance; • Moves furniture and helps with the set-up for sporting events as well as art and music nights; • Takes on a variety of tasks within the school with an “all hands on deck” mindset. Pay & Benefits: This position is a full time, year-round position with competitive salary, depending on experience.
