School Custodian/Maintenance

POSITION:School Custodian/Maintenance POSITION OPENING:Monday, July 28, 2025 SCHEDULE:10:00am - 6:30pm, (Monday - Friday) (30 Minute lunch) PRIMARY PURPOSE:Janitor/Custodian Supervisor for a private, K-12 educational private school on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL. REQUIREMENTS:This job requires a clear level II background check. References required. DUTIES:Self-motivated person wanted to carry out custodial/maintenance duties in a school setting. Candidate should have a basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and heating systems. Responsibilities include building and grounds maintenance, painting, lighting repair, mulching areas around the building, and insuring the daily cleanliness of the school building. BENEFITS / COMPENSATION:Benefits and compensation include: • Hourly Rate is negotiable between $18.00 and $19.00, per hour • Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire • Employer Matching Contributions towards Retirement Plan, after 1 year of employment • Note: Health Insurance Benefits are not offered at this time.
