Unarmed Security Officer – School Security Officer Arizona Veteran Security is searching for an unarmed experienced security officer to work in an established parochial school environment. The individual must possess the ability to work and interact with both, the admininstration and students, in a positive and professional manner. The officer will adhere to security protocols at all times as well as those established by the school administration. Work Schedule: Days:Monday-Friday Hours:12:00 p.m. - 08:00 p.m. (Overtime may be required for events) Pay:$17 per hour Why work for us: • 24/7 Command Center with dispatchers to assist anytime during you shift • Radio system that can provide Statewide connection to the Command Center • Electronic DAR's and incident reporting system, no paperwork reporting • Web based scheduling system, 24/7 access • Clock in/out on your phone at jobsite • Flexible schedules available Unarmed Minimum Qualifications: • 20 years of age or older • Current AZ DPS unarmed security guard card • Arizona Fingerprint Level 1 (IVP)Card • Two (2) years experience as a licensed unarmed security officer • A valid driver's licentse and vehicle to report to job site • Smart phone with a date plan and ability to operate apps • Current working email address • Must be drug free Job Duties: • Safeguard employees, facilities and associated assets • Allow only authorized persons access to the building • Maintain activity log (electronic/paper) in accoradance with Agency requirements • Monitor and investigate all internal alarm systems (such as fire, etc.) • Check all entrances and exits are secure at end of the day • Deter acts of vandalism, graffitti, burglary, trespassing, hazardous, criminal & unauthorized activities • Conduct security patrols with routes and schedules as stated in post orders • Monitor CCTV activities Physical Requirements: • Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat • Constant mental alertness and attention to detail. You must complete all screening questions and submit resume to be considered.
