School Success Administrative Assistant
Job Description
New Visions is seeking a dedicated administrative professional to manage day-to-day operations for the School Success Team. The ideal candidate will be able to independently own and manage logistics pertaining to citywide trainings offered around the Portal by New Visions.
Core Duties and Responsibilities- Provide administrative and program support to School Success Team
- Support the team in the creation of an annual training calendar
- Complete citywide training prework for partner organizations, including:
- Entering training details in the workshop registration system
- Creating Google Calendar invitations and Zoom links for each training
- Monitoring registration and providing updates to the team
- Inviting registrants to Google Calendar invitation
- Sending email to registrants with the agenda, zoom link and a reminder of the date/time of the training
- Ensuring registration is closed 30 min prior to the start of the training
- Complete citywide training follow up activities, including:
- Pulling participant reports and add to a tracking spreadsheet
- Sending a follow up email to registrants with the resources from the training
- Support the team with development of resources as needed
- Assist on special projects and assignments as required
- Associates degree
- 1+ years of experience providing administrative support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Google platform (e.g. Drive, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Gmail)
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Strong collaboration skills and effective project management
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and judgement to escalate or adjust priorities as necessary
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Adaptable to competing demands while demonstrating high levels of service
- Interest in public education reform preferred

Pay Range
$44,359 minimum to $62,103 maximum
While the majority of new hires’ starting salaries shall be expected to be placed in the first half of the range(s) to allow space to grow in the job, for those who already have significant relevant experience at that level of the job, placement at the higher end of the range(s) is possible.
Our offices are currently operating in a hybrid model, with staff expected to work in person several days per week. We are following New York City’s lead and requiring all staff to be vaccinated. In 2021-22, graduation rates in our Charter and Affinity networks were 96% and 92% and our support for postsecondary readiness has expanded exponentially.
