This team supports various areas of manufacturing, including production and testing of on-market assays. If a product doesn't meet release criteria, this team investigates and develops experiments to determine root-cause and implement corrective action.

Key Outcomes:

As a Scientist 1 within our Manufacturing Operations group, you will triage issues in manufacturing and testing, lead product and process investigations including designing experiments to support those investigations or for other studies to ensure product sustainability.

You will prepare and execute study protocols and reports, as well as generate data summaries using statistical analysis, under guidance from senior scientists.

You work well independently, as well as in a cross-functional team environment, you are able to communicate effectively with peers, interdepartmentally and with management, have meticulous attention to detail, strong statistical analysis skills, and a high sense of urgency.

You leverage the tools, resources, and your skills to resolve technical issues.

You have experience with CAPA investigations, conducting root-cause analysis, knowledge of Statistical Process Control, and you have a good understanding of cGMP, GLP, QSR and ISO regulated environments.

Additional Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree and 4-6 years of related experience in a scientific discipline.
• Understanding of molecular biology techniques, such as PCR and immunoassays/lateral flow technology preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment focused on frequently ensuring product availability.
