Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Scientist II, Field Applications to join our exceptional team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in India. Responsibilities:

• Determine customer needs and provide flawless technical support and guidance in field applications on:

1. Flow Cytometry platforms (THERMOFISHER PLATFORMs / similar platforms)

2. Imaging / Microscope (THERMOFISHER PLATFORMs / Similar platforms)

3. Plate readers / washers (THERMOFISHER PLATFORMs / similar Platforms)

4. SAMPLE PREPARATION (KINGFISHER extraction systems/ Consumables knowledge).

• Successfully implement and compete in the market by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct training sessions / troubleshooting's and workshops to educate customers on the use of our products.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers.
• PhD / Masters degree in a scientific field, preferably in Life Sciences or a related area of study
• Adequate knowledge on cell biology protocols, antibodies.
  
  Preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in field applications or related roles
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ambitious and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
