Qualifications:

Education:• BS/MS is scientific/engineering/Life sciences field.• Will also consider recent PHD candidates.

Must have:• 4-8 years' experience in industry in Pharmaceutical/ physical/ analytical chemistry/ food science, or academic equivalent, is required.• The ability to run, and interpret chromatography is a must.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.• Strong leadership/interpersonal skills and a motivation to work in a team environment with cross-functional interactions are essential.

Nice to have:• An understanding of preformulation aspects of new chemical entities, ability to generate and interpret preformulation laboratory data including microscopy, solubility, dissolution, DSC, PXRD are preferred.

Notes:

100% lab based role, onsite. 6 months role only.

Responsibilities:• You will be responsible for the characterization of potential pre-clinical drug candidate physicochemical properties and the identification of suitable oral and parenteral preclinical formulations for pharmacology and toxicology studies for small molecules.• Specifically, the candidate will use analytical tools to measure solubility / physical form as well as chemical stability.• In this exciting role you will provide support to our discovery therapeutic areas based at our multi-disciplinary drug discovery site based in Boston, MA.
