Join our team of scientists in Research within the Biochemistry, Adjuvant and Formulation platform at Marcy l'Etoile as Scientist in Antigen purification and formulation where you will ensure the definition and realization of experimental strategies and projects to purify protein antigens and formulate in lipid particles or with adjuvant necessary for future vaccines.

Main responsibilities:

• Define and implement experimental strategies to meet the needs of new vaccine projects
• Perform protein purification with automatized technologies
• Run stability studies, ensure the organization of the studies and the timelines
• Implement new approaches allowing purification and formulation of antigens
• Implement external collaborations to evaluate innovative approaches
• Participate in new vaccine project teams and lead cross-functional activities to meet project needs
• Ensure commitments to deliver results to projects within defined deadlines
• Interact with other scientists in a multidisciplinary team

About you

• Experience(s): Experience in proteins purification and formulation in particle and/or with adjuvant
• Technical and soft skills:Skills in protein purification and characterization. Mastery in formulation of proteins in a pharmaceutical environment (liposomes, polymers, emulsions, nanoparticles). Skills in physicochemical characterizations (size measurement, encapsulations, zeta potential, chromatography). Understanding in vaccines, immunology and biology. Critical mindset on the choice of experimental strategies and on the analysis/interpretation of results, Literature review and innovation proposal, Ability to respond to new research priorities, Communication and teamwork skills
• Education: PhD in Protein purification, Formulation, Analytics
• Language(s): French and English
