SCM Specialist

Your responsibilities:

• You will handle daily shipping and banking related matters, including arrangement of import/export shipments, inland transportation, banking documentation etc. for projects.
• You will provide advice/solution on safe, effective and economical way of transportation for sales and operations (PM).
• You will implement local sourcing plans to achieve the business targets, support regional and global sourcing and supplier management initiatives as required.
• You will analyze, evaluate bids in order to determine the optimal value and negotiate commercial terns with suppliers.
• You will oversee supplier performance and resolve performance issues.
• You will apply standard on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiation.
• You will create and update reports, as required, following Hitachi Energy standards, implement Hitachi Energy control over the logistics/procurement process.

• You hold higher diploma degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience of import / export regulations, shipping and banking documentation.
• Experience on SAP system.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
