SCM System Specialist

Purpose Statement: Provide direct Supply Chain System development execution. Development environments include Microsoft BI, Oracle/JDE, MS Access, MS Excel, Kinaxis Rapid Response, SQL Server, and integration between them.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Execution and Maintenance: Support the development, execution and maintenance of Supply Chain Systems such as Rapid Response, Microsoft BI, JDEdwards and related subsystems.
• Supply Chain Systems Support: Provide daily oversight and operational management of Supply Chain Analysis systems. Run tasks to complete required processing in support of end users and Plexus’ Global Supply Chain. Create and provide training where necessary.
• System Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of all Supply Chain Systems to a level sufficient to recreate the systems in part or in whole to current operating version.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional databases and structures and familiarity with SQL syntax and querying.
• Fluent in Google Workspace or MS Office products including, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Independent thinking and sound judgment.
• Strong ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments with little to no supervision.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented.
• General office equipment and materials.

Physical Requirements:

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.

Travel Requirements:

• Less than 40%
