Screen Read Auditor

Role overview:
The Screen Reader Auditor will audit the WW app and website with VoiceOver and JAWS to ensure the experience is usable by members who use screen readers.
The objective of this role is to have a person who uses a screen reader in their daily life to validate that the screen reader experience of the app and website is equal in quality and usability as that of the visual experience.
Responsibilities:
The Auditor will be given a list of tasks to complete, such as track a meal for lunch. Each task will be done once with VoiceOver on an iPhone, and once with JAWS on web with a Windows operating system. They will record their notes of the overall experience, and details of any areas that need to be fixed or updated for each task. After the tech team makes fixes and enhancements reported the Auditor will do a re-evaluation of each task to ensure the fixes were made correctly.
Requirements:

• Frequent screen reader user (e.g. JAWS and VoiceOver). Ideally someone who uses a screen reader in their daily life.
• Knowledge of computers, browsers, and mobile devices
• The ability to use or learn Google Sheets (i.e. Spreadsheets)
• Openness to learning
