The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Scrum Master that is passionate about Agile and helping the organization embrace Agile principles and best practices in order to drive the successful, on-time and high quality delivery of product development activities and internal technical operations initiatives. The Scrum Master provides effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills that directly impact our Agile development process and the delivery of our applications.

The scrum master is responsible for leading and coaching multiple platform and application development teams, coordinating and scheduling team ceremonies, measuring progress and monitoring team performance and coordination with other scrum masters and subject matter experts to resolve impediments and understand key inter-team dependencies.

What You Will Do:
  • Serve as Scrum Master for 2-3 teams, providing guidance and consistency on how to apply Agile best practices in a way that allows for Homecare Homebase to respond to customer and product needs with high predictability and quality.
  • Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives and backlog refinement.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owners to ensure backlogs are refined, maintained and ready for sprint and PI planning.
  • Proactively identify and remove team impediments thru consistent focus on creative problem solving by the team, as well as thru collaboration with appropriate subject matter experts and decision makers.
  • Participate in Scrum of Scrums to identify, track and resolve interdependencies and external impediments.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Owners to manage cross-team dependencies in support of strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with PO and Tech leadership to ensure readiness for PI planning and guide your teams thru the planning event.
  • Tracking and reporting of all relevant team performance metrics to ensure organizational transparency, including but not limited to team velocity, burndowns, sprint & release status.
  • Ensure team tracking tools and relevant documentation are maintained and current at all times.
  • Build and promote an open, trusting and respectful team environment; by facilitating discussions, collaborative decision making and conflict resolution.
  • Ongoing assessment of the Scrum maturity of the team(s) and organization; coaching the team to higher levels of maturity in order to get the most out of self-organization, at a pace that is sustainable and appropriate for the team and organization.
  • All other duties as assigned.


What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years professional experience) delivering or developing software.
  • 3+ years of Scrum Master experience leading 2+ teams concurrently.
  • CSM Or CSP certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile principles, values, and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Ability to assess the needs of a team or organization and leverage a variety of innovative coaching techniques to help the team, Product Owner and Product Manager apply the appropriate Agile practices
  • Experience building motivated, collaborative and productive teams, including remote team members
  • Team-player attitude, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish high-trust professional relationships quickly
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflict through facilitated discussion, identifying alternatives or different approaches.
  • Ability to bring transparency to stakeholders about team's development progress and grow business trust.
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure to manage competing demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile principles, values, and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework.
