The Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master at Bloomerang, you will play a leadership role that plays an important part in ensuring the success of software development teams. You will collaborate closely with teams to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote agile practices. You will help remove any impediments and ensure teams are aligned on goals and continually delivering working software. The Scrum Master role also involves tracking and reporting on team health and communication with stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Engaging with teams to ensure they are consistently delivering software to help non-profits
- Promoting agile practices throughout Product and Engineering teams
- Leading Scrum ceremonies and ensuring teams are in alignment with objectives
- Mitigating any impediments that could prevent teams from making progress
- Monitoring and reporting on team performance to maintain velocity and quality
- Presenting project execution to team leadership
- Act as a facilitator between teams, technical staff, and stakeholders
- Identify and implement improvements to Agile operations
- Develop metrics to track team performance
- Ensure teams are meeting sprint goals within the allotted timeframes
- Utilize Jira to track workflow and progress
What You Need to Succeed
- A passion for people and collaborative problem solvingÂ
- A desire to experiment and enhance Scrum ceremonies
- Experience in partnering with both Product and Engineering leadership
- Excellent communication with stakeholders to create a great product
- An appreciation for individuals, interactions, and outcomes over processes and tools
- Strong listening and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to helping nonprofits with software solutions
- At least 2 years of Agile experience
Nice to Haves But Not Required
- Proven track record of successfully leading and improving agile methodologiesÂ
- Ability to effectively coach and mentor teams and identify areas of improvement
- Experience developing and/or facilitating workshops and training
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in implementing data-driven decisions to optimize team performance
- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles and agile best practices

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $98,500 - $133,5000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.Â
