Job Description
The Scrum Master oversees multiple product delivery teams through agile and hybrid delivery models. This position partners with Business Owners and IT Product Owners to deliver against product backlogs. They will be directly accountable for facilitating sprint ceremonies, managing and controlling sprint progress, statusing on sprint health, and measuring and reporting on sprint delivery KPIs. This position requires strong technical acumen, effective communication with both Business and IT stakeholders, ability to lead matrixed team members, good attention to detail, and be organized, prepared, and proactive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee 3+ product teams comprised of business owner(s), IT product owner, developers, quality assurance, and business SMEs.
- Organize and facilitate team backlog grooming, sprint planning, clarification sessions, sprint estimation, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demos and other scrum-related ceremonies.
- Work with numerous stakeholders to ensure their needs are accounted for and tracked.
- Work with Business Owners and IT Product Owners to prioritize and plan sprints to business priorities and available capacity.
- Monitor and control product team risks/issues, capacity, velocity, and sprint progress.
- Facilitate mitigation of risks and issues and aggressively remove blockers for product teams.
- Quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders. Resolve conflicts and deliver tough messages with grace. Continually update relevant stakeholders of status.
- Track, trend, and report sprint KPIs to quantify delivery performance and identify opportunities for improvement or issues that require escalation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relative degree field preferred or relevant years experience.
- 4+ years scrum master experience.
- 4+ years software delivery experience in an agile delivery model.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience working with application product teams.
- Experience working with IT product owners.
- Customer facing website experience a plus.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience a plus.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Agile delivery models.
- Strong leadership skills and a history of leading through influence.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
