We are currently seeking a Scrum Master to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Job Responsibilities:

The Scrum Master will be responsible for driving infrastructure engineering activities from feature through solution implementation using a Lean Agile Framework. This role facilitates team level processes, oversees execution, escalates impediments so the team can reach its goals, coordinates as needed with other scrum teams, and communicates status and progress to the Agile Release Train (ART) and leadership team.

Job Duties:
  • Guides and coaches Scrum Masters and Teams on how to implement Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Provides guidance during PI Planning and regularly coordinates and between the ART teams
  • Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a regular cadence and the team adheres to best practices, policies, and guidelines.
  • Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum teams on removing impediments
  • Help the scrum teams and other stakeholders to identify risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Support the product owner and provide training/guidance where needed


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management
  • Minimum 3 years of Scrum experience
  • Top Secret clearance required
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exhibits Lean Agile leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Telecom Experience is desired
  • Experience communicating and removing impediments outside of team
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal and organizational conflicts - strong mediator
  • Ability to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a sustainable & effective workplace
  • Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-improvement
