Job Description
The project is intended to integrate two trade order management systems into the client's strategic data hub. We are responsible for all aspects of delivery, from requirements gathering to design and execution to testing. The technology is primarily .NET, Java/Unix with XML, SQL, Weblogic, Sybase, and Oracle.
Responsibilities
- * Managing and optimising flow of value through the Agile Release Train
* Assistance in tracking the capabilities and execution of features.
* Guidance to the economical decision making.
* Coach leaders, scrum masters and teams in Lean-Agile mindsets and practices.
* Help in managing dependencies and risks.
* Escalating and tracking impediments.
* Work with Product Owners, Product & Solution Management, and stakeholders for ensuring strategy and execution alignments.
* Improving the flow of value through value streams by assessing and improving the practices related to DevOps.
Skills
Must have
- 1)Substantial tactical experience LEADING two or more scrum teams simultaneously
a.Ability to collaboratively lead team(s) in optimizing delivery from a point of knowledge and understanding of the product/capabilities the team is delivering
b.Understanding of the roles/responsibilities/strengths/opportunities of each team member and leveraging that understanding to enable each individual
2)Full accountability/ownership for all Scrum Master duties
a.Effectively/efficiently leading all ceremonies
b.Analyzing, understanding and removing roadblocks based on contextual understanding of the issue, options, recommended resolution and appropriate individuals to work with within CG
c.Effectively using and taking full accountability for tools to optimize delivery (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Program Boards,)
d.Working with the PO, team members, members of the leadership team and others to understand how team and industry best practices are utilized by the team and ensure that these best practices are followed (i.e. story creation, scoping work, other planning and execution processes,)
e.Making recommendation to leadership on ways to optimize feature team and overall product teams' delivery
3)Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
a.Take the ambiguous and collaboratively drive for clarity to a level the team can confidently deliver
4)Excellent soft skills (i.e. Communication, issue resolution, team building,)
5)Flexibility in team dynamics - the relationship between Scrum Lead and TPO, team members and others are dynamic. Exhibit the ability to assess the specific team dynamics and engage in an effective way - "Not my job" should not be in the successful candidates vocabulary.
6)Well developed understanding of the mechanics of requirements gathering and conversion to Jira Objectives/Features/Epics/Stories/Tasks
