Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking highly-qualified Scrum Masters at the Manager level who have experience performing scrum methodologies towards digital transformation projects. This Senior Agilist role fundamentally guides the modern software development team by taking an active role in planning, facilitation to achieve our committed outcomes. This role requires solid, practical experience with Agile techniques and approaches to guide, support and improve product teams. You will collaborate intensively with your team members and Product Owners. You will also interact with Cognizant clients to mentor, consult, and assist them in making appropriate process decisions and solve any blocking points.

Responsibilities

• Lead everyday execution of one or more scrum teams or project teams.
• Acts as the single voice to the business and technical community on behalf of the team.
• Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, driving continuous improvement and effective collaborator engagement.
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions and provide sprint commitment updates to business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of confirmed experience in implementing scrum methodologies with Agile Projects or Product development work.
• Background in Software Delivery / software development / Product lifecycle management, Customer Experience Scrum Master.
• Certified in Scrum / Kanban / SAFe such as CSM or PSM or SAFe SM - At least one Scrum Certification required from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, Scruminc.com or SAFe.
