AHEAD is looking for a Scrum Master who will work closely with our client’s Agile teams and Product Owners to provide servant leadership, education, and coaching as part of an enterprise-level Agile transformation.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience wherein Consulting experience highly preferred.
- 3+ years of hands on experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including; daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, etc.
- Partner with leadership to build collaborative teams and enhance communication across key stakeholders and teams
- Track performance of projects, analyzing the successful completion of goals and objectives
- Coaches the teams to higher levels of maturity at a scalable pace that is congruent with strategic goals
- Track team performance towards completion of goals by using KPI’s and burndown charts
- Supports Product Owners, especially ensuring that the scope of the product is understood by the team
- Excellent client and stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
- Guides teams in adhering to Scrum concepts and Agile methodologies
- Supports Product Owners and development team in understanding how user stories and tasks are utilized in the backlog
- Coaches teams on self-organization best practices and cross-functional communication
- Familiarity with data and analytics projects
Qualification:
- Strong ability to independently manage medium to high risk, high complexity, and high client visibility projects.
- Knowledgeable of the company's products and services.
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be adept with the use of negotiation techniques to reach an agreement when there are widely differing viewpoints.
- Effectively facilitate interaction with executive-level clients.
- Able to consistently set clear expectations, manage team performance, and build high morale among team members.
- Successfully maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.
