Scrum Master

BlackStone eIT is seeking a skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join our dynamic software development team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the team in adopting and implementing agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.

In this role, you will facilitate the day-to-day activities of the development team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will work closely with the product owner and stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are clearly defined and that the team is working towards them.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and guide the team in adopting and implementing Scrum methodologies.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the development team adheres to Scrum values, roles, and ceremonies.
• Collaborate with the product owner and stakeholders to define project objectives and prioritize the product backlog.
• Identify and remove obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
• Track and report project progress to stakeholders and management.
• Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile certifications.
• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on tracking and reporting project progress.
• Experience with agile project management tools, such as JIRA or Trello.
• Knowledge of software development best practices.
